Fan Lu is a traveling artist. Painting is a calling for her. Fan’s goal of art is to deliver positive messages that encourage people to show appreciation and gratitude for nature and daily life. Seeing normal things with a new perspective and expressing in an artistic way gives Fan a refreshed mind and energy. Most of the time, Fan paints in her traveling sketchbook journals using watercolor. After returning to the studio, she works on large oil paintings of nature, the sceneries filled with memories of travelings which impressed and touched her. After being a mom, she started traveling with her baby boy, and with more experience of painting during travelings with baby, she will have more to share with students of quick sketches and time management. Through this workshop, Fan will share her experience of painting and drawing while travelings. Tips on traveling with light-weighted art materials, practical skills of quick sketches. In class, Fan will make a demo of illustrating from life. And all the attendees will have practice and exercise time. More concepts, inspirations, ideas to explore. Tickets are available to purchase now.
