Event Details

Colorado native Joel Van Horne, aka Covenhoven, has dubbed his new critically acclaimed album the ocean record, because he wrote the songs while touring and exploring the west coast over the past 2 years. Chapter 3 in the Covenhoven story, “A Kind of Revelation” continues his over-arching theme of immersion in a place, and letting that place become the centerpiece of the music. Big Sur, Olympic National Park, and the Oregon coast served as his geographical muse this time around. The resulting 9 songs are a captivating journey that transport the listener to the remote corners of the windswept coastal wildernesses from which they were born.

He’s shared the stage with Gregory Alan Isakov, Blind Pilot, S. Carey (Bon Iver), Aaron Embry, Rayland Baxter, The Oh Hellos, John Paul White (Civil Wars), Joshua James, John Craigie, Shook Twins, Anna Tivel, Joan Shelley, etc.

Andie Lee is based in Oakland, CA, and has been writing songs for nearly a decade. Her music has been described as folky and ethereal, telling stories over layers of soothing harmonies. In 2014, she collaborated with artist Calde Ramirez, while living in Spain, to produce “The Spider or the Moth E.P.”, and is currently working on recording a full-length album.

Doors open at 7:30 PM. Show starts at 8:00 PM. $10 pre-sale, $15 at the door.
